Essential amino acids such as tryptophan and threonine are required for the production of the hormones serotonin and melanin, which have a calming and anxiety-reducing effect in the brain. Selenium has been added and the amount of magnesium has been increased. Three forms of magnesium are used for optimal absorption, while preserving the palatability.
