When should you replace your cap?

If you have fallen, your riding helmet may be damaged. Even if you don't see this on the outside! There are brands that offer to check a cap for possible damage after a fall. Unfortunately, this is not the case with standard riding helmets and it is therefore best to replace them.

Didn't you fall? Then you still have to replace your cap after 5 years of use.

Now I can hear you think, it will. This is only to sell more riding caps. This is really not the case! The quality of the inside of your riding cap deteriorates over the years. This is not only the case for caps that are widely used, but also for caps that are mainly in the closet.

The best place to store your cap is in a carrying case in a ventilated, dry place.
